APAC – Mindshare, the global media agency network that is part of WPP, took home the top honors at the annual Campaign Agency of the Year awards last night, after winning 15 agency and 11 people awards over the course
of the three ceremonies. This is a coup for the massive media network
as they took home gold in Asia Pacific, Southeast Asia and South Asia
regions as well as honors in 11 countries including gold in China,
Indonesia, India, Singapore and Rest of South Asia for their Bangladesh
office.
Commenting on the win Ashutosh
Srivastava, Chairman Asia / CEO Emerging Markets Group at Mindshare
said, “I am incredibly proud of the team and the excellent work that we
have done right across the region. Winning the top honor is always
incredibly exciting, but having the breadth of wins stretching across 11
of the 17 country / country groups that Campaign evaluates is simply
remarkable and a testament to the power of our unique network.”
They also took home silver in Thailand
and Vietnam, as well as Japan for both media and digital agency. In
addition, they won bronzes in Malaysia and Philippines for media, as
well as digital agency of the year for Rest of South Asia thanks to
their Sri Lanka office.
The agency attributes their ability to
both win and retain clients to their doubling down on training
strategists, moving to an adaptive planning process, and making massive
investments in real time marketing hubs and dashboards in nearly all of
their markets.
Having taken home over 300 awards in
2015, these awards represent the highlight in what has been an
outstanding year for Mindshare.
