Gaurav Mehta, CMO, OLX South Asia honored with“Marketer of the Year Award”

Indian Marketing Awards recognize how marketing is critical for organic growth of a business and plays a central role in creating, communicating, capturing and sustaining value for an organization. This award acknowledges Gaurav’s leadership and commitment which has led the company to achieve various milestones in its journey in India.  It is under his deep experience and understanding of the Indian market that has led the brand to witness a healthy growth over the years.
Accepting this award Gaurav said, “It is an absolute honor to be recognized by one of the reputed names in the Indian marketing industry. Gaurav was one of the first few employees to have joined OLX and led marketing initiatives on its way to becoming India’s largest marketplace for used goods. Through his experience and vision he made the audience believe in the brand’s message making OLX synonymous with selling in India. Apart from India, he is also spearheading the company’s marketing initiatives in other emerging markets of South Asia.  It is under his leadership that OLX emerged as India’s only online classifieds to be on the top ten searched terms by Google Zeitgeist 2013 & 2014.
